Blackwater founder Erik Prince says he’s cooperating with Mueller’s Russia probe

Blackwater founder Erik Prince tells the Daily Beast that he has been cooperating with special counsel Robert Mueller’s probe of Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election.

Speaking of the Russia investigation, Prince says that he’s been cooperating with Mueller, although he insists that his efforts to set up a back channel between the Trump transition team and the Russian government were completely legal and ethical.

“I certainly understand the intense interest in the investigation and certainly some of the wild-eyed reporting in the media,” he said. “I have spoken voluntarily to Congress and I also cooperated with the special counsel.”

Prince also defended President Donald Trump’s efforts to establish a strong working relationship with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

“As I’ve said before, if Franklin Roosevelt can work with Joseph Stalin to defeat German fascism, Nazi fascism, national socialist fascism, then certainly Donald Trump can work with Putin to defeat Islamic fascism,” he said. “And I think good statesmanship could even start to drive a wedge between Russian policy and Iran policy because we can disagree vehemently on their policy in Ukraine but we don’t have to be, certainly, their enemy in the Middle East.”

Trump decided it was neither, and instead, it was false teeth falling out of her mouth.

"Because Nancy’s teeth were falling out of her mouth, and she didn’t have time to think!" Trump tweeted in response to a video from the press conference.

Conservative columnist Max Boot wasn't shocked when he saw Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) proclaim he had no intention of being an independent juror during President Donald Trump's impeachment trial. The Trump antagonist penned his Sunday column dripping with sarcasm.

His fellow conservative colleague, Jennifer Rubin, similarly said that no one expected anything better from Graham. Boot extended his disdain to the entire Republican Party.

Americans still don’t know why Trump was rushed to Walter Reed hospital: ex-White House press secretary

It's been three weeks since President Donald Trump was rushed to Walter Reed hospital, and former White House press secretary Joe Lockhart reminded his Twitter following that Americans still don't know what happened.

"It’s been 3weeks since the President made an unscheduled and rushed trip to Walter Reed. Americans have a right to know about the President's health and the WH explanations doesn’t pass the smell test. I hope there are still enterprising reporters on this. Democracy dies in the dark," Lockhart tweeted.
