Eagles receiver destroys Trump tweets about White House visit: ‘So many lies smh’
The White House abruptly uninvited the Philadelphia Eagles from their super bowl celebration because of “irreconcilable differences” on Monday night.
However, since the press release circulated on Twitter, Philadelphia Eagles’ players called out President Trump for his blatant lies.
Eagles player Torrey Smith said on Twitter that no one planned on going to the celebration anyways. Smith called President Trump’s decision a “cowardly act.”
Smith said the White House seeks to spread a false narrative that football players are “anti-military.” He also mentioned that not one of the Eagles player kneeled during their last season.
