First son Eric Trump is unhappy at the treatment he and his father, President Donald Trump, have been receiving for the past two years.
In an interview with Westchester Magazine, Eric Trump complains about the way that entering politics has opened up his family for criticism.
"Every day, you get abused by somebody," he tells the magazine. "And the next thing you know, you’re being parodied on Saturday Night Live."
The second eldest Trump son also says that his father has been treated very poorly ever since he decided to run for president back in 2015.
"My father’s life became exponentially worse the minute he decided to run for president," he says. "He didn’t need to do this, but he was immensely frustrated with where the country was going."
Eric's wife, Lara Trump similarly tells Westchester Magazine that she and her family will sometimes "pine for the old days" before they became the focus of round-the-clock media attention.
