Donald Trump reports that his wife Melania is "doing great" after kidney surgery that left her in the hospital longer than expected and now out of sight for weeks.

But she will reportedly not join her husband on either of his two upcoming trips, according to ABC News reporter Meridith McGraw.

Trump is scheduled to travel to Canada for the G7 summit this week and then to Singapore for the on-again, off-again nuclear arms summit with North Korean dictator Kim Jong-un.

Melania's disappearance has been noted by people who believe her husband may have written a tweet professing that she is OK which appeared to use her husband's signature syntax.
