The United States Supreme Court on Tuesday lifted an injunction against the latest iteration of President Donald Trump's ban on travel from Muslim-majority countries, resulting in a "big legal victory" for the administration, MSNBC reports.

"The decisions says that President Trump wins," explained MSNBC justice correspondent Pete Williams.

"Stepping aside from the specifics, this is a big legal victory for the president and it comes of course during a time when his administration is mired in an entirely different kind of immigration question," Williams continued. "A big victory for the president."

Anchor Hallie Jackson reviewed President Trump's past comments on his Muslim ban.
