Michael Cohen, President Donald Trump's longtime attorney and so-called "fixer," has reportedly acknowledged that he expects that he'll get arrested in the very near future.

According to Vanity Fair's Gabe Sherman, "Cohen has told friends that he expects to be arrested any day now." Cohen insists to Sherman that he never said this to anyone, although Sherman nonetheless is standing by his source's account.

A former Trump White House official says that if Cohen is, in fact, arrested, then Trump should be "super worried" about what he'll tell law enforcement officials.

"If anyone can blow up Trump, it's him," the official said.

Meanwhile, a "friend" to Trump tells Sherman he expects the president's troubles with special counsel Robert Mueller are likely to boil over soon, as he believes "it’s going to hit the fan" within the next several weeks.

One Republican tells Sherman that Trump is "very worried" about what Mueller will find, and he thinks that Mueller's findings could lead to Trump firing both the special counsel and Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein.
