A veteran prosecutor in the San Bernardino County District Attorney’s Office is under fire after a series of vulgar posts and comments online wondering why someone hasn’t shot Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA) as well as attacks on former First Lady Michelle Obama and Mexican immigrants.

According to The Sun, Deputy District Attorney Michael Selyem — a 12-year veteran of the DA’s office — is facing calls for his dismissal over the comments made on Facebook.

According to the report, the prosecutor who specializes in prosecuting gang violence, attacked the outspoken Waters online, writing: “Being a loud-mouthed c*nt in the ghetto you would think someone would have shot this b*tch by now …”

Selyem also posted a doctored picture of Michelle Obama holding up a sign saying, “Trump grabbed my penis.”

Discussing a police shooting in a comment section, the prosecutor went off, writing, “That sh*tbag got exactly what he deserved. … You reap what you sow. And by the way go f*ck yourself you liberal sh*tbag.”

The Sun reports that the DA’s office has been aware of Selyem’s online outbursts since late June and the he is currently undergoing an internal review.

In a statement Friday, outgoing District Attorney Mike Ramos said: “We have been made aware of the negative comments and they do not represent the views of the District Attorney’s Office. Since this is a personnel matter I cannot comment any further.”

According to the report, Selyem has shuttered his Facebook and Instagram accounts.

Watch: Trump bluntly busted by FEC chair for pushing phony voter fraud accusations

Published

Appearing on CNN on Monday morning, the head of the Federal Election Commission had harsh words for President Donald Trump for continuing to push election fraud accusations, saying their investigation found absolutely no evidence to back up the president's claims.

Speaking with host John Berman, Ellen Weintraub, a Democrat who had been nominated in President George W. Bush's administration, got right to the point.

"Facts matter," Weintraub said of the president's accusations that he continues to repeat at his rallies. "And people of America need to be able to believe what their leaders tell them. It is damaging to our democracy to spread information that as you yourself just described as baseless."

Trump explodes at ‘mental wreck’ Scaramucci after blistering CNN segment — and then mocks his divorce

Published

President Donald Trump exploded with rage on Monday after former White House Communications Director Anthony Scaramucci once again hammered him during a CNN segment in which he said he wanted to gather together former Trump cabinet officials to denounce the president.

"Anthony Scaramucci is a highly unstable 'nut job' who was with other candidates in the primary who got shellaced (sic), and then unfortunately wheedled his way into my campaign," the president wrote. "I barely knew him until his 11 days of gross incompetence-made a fool of himself, bad on TV."

Barack Obama was an awesome president — and Democrats shouldn’t forget that

Published

It's time for a defense of Barack Obama, the best American president of the last 50 years.

First it is worth reflecting on how Obama became something of a goat during the last round of Democratic debates in Detroit. As the Rev. Al Sharpton said afterward, "This whole suicide mission of going after Barack Obama smells like desperation, and I think it certainly shows that some of them are just not ready for where they are."
