Lanny Davis, the attorney representing longtime Trump “fixer” Michael Cohen, sharply rebuked Rudy Giuliani on Monday for insisting that Cohen has no damaging information about President Donald Trump.
Writing on Twitter, Davis took Giuliani to task for encouraging Cohen to cooperate with federal investigators, even while insisting that such cooperation would not turn up any criminal wrongdoing by the president.
“Did Rudy Giuliani really say on Sunday shows that Michael Cohen should cooperate with prosecutors and tell the truth?” he asked. “Seriously? Is that Trump and Giuliani definition of ‘truth’? Trump/Giuliani next to the word ‘truth’ = oxymoron.”
At the end of his tweet, Davis ominously wrote, “Stay tuned.”

It was revealed last week that Cohen would retain Davis as his attorney — a provocative move given Davis’ long history of working on behalf of Bill and Hillary Clinton.
Cohen has reportedly been feeling abandoned by his longtime employer after the FBI raided his offices this past April, as Trump has tried to publicly distance himself from his former personal attorney in the wake of the raid.
