Environmental Protection Agency chief Scott Pruitt is the latest to be harassed while having dinner out.
In an encounter on Thursday of last week, a mother was having lunch with her 2-year-old in Washington, D.C. when she spotted Pruitt. She said she approached him and calmly and quietly critiqued his resistance to clean air and clean water.
“We deserve to have somebody at the EPA who actually does protect our environment, someone who believes in climate change and takes it seriously for the benefit of all us,” said Kristin Mink. “I would urge you to resign before your scandals push you out.”
Mink is a teacher at a Quaker day school where many former presidents' children attended school.
Mink uploaded the video of the encounter where she's seen approaching the EPA administrator and speaking with him.
Over the past several weeks, many Trump administration officials have been approached in public. Most of them, however have not encountered people as polite as Mink.
