Former White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer has a new book coming out — and, according to excerpts leaked to The Guardian, he describes President Donald Trump as “a unicorn, riding a unicorn over a rainbow.”
In an excerpt published by The Guardian, Spicer gushes about his former boss’s ability to survive scandals and controversies that would have doomed every other presidential campaign.
“I don’t think we will ever again see a candidate like Donald Trump,” Spicer writes. “His high-wire act is one that few could ever follow. He is a unicorn, riding a unicorn over a rainbow.”
The internet quickly piled on with mockery of Spicer’s over-the-top effort to suck up to Trump — check out some reactions below.
And Sean Spicer is a satyr riding a podium, riding a Segway into the bushes outside the WH.

Can’t unicorns fly? Why would one need to ride another over the rainbow? I don’t want to ask my daughters.
