'That's too bad': Kellyanne Conway mocks Democrats 'totally beholden' to Supreme Court preserving abortion rights

Kellyanne Conway, counselor to President Donald Trump, on Monday accused Democrats of being "totally beholden" to abortion rights.

During a discussion about Trump's next pick for the Supreme Court, Conway argued that the president wanted a justice with "deep intellect." But she complained that "the left boils every single thing -- including a Supreme Court justice -- down to one issue, abortion."

"We know they are hostile to the Second Amendment," she explained. "The Supreme Court takes on any number of cases. This is why you see a Democrat totally beholden to the abortion issue almost to the exclusion of everything else. Is this why have you Democratic senators already who have said there is absolutely no one that this president can nominate to the Supreme Court that they will even meet with that they will even consider voting for?"

Fox News host Steve Doocy asserted that Democrats were not going to be satisfied unless Trump appoints a justice who upholds abortion rights.

"Well, that’s too bad," Conway quipped. "They should have elected their person president, I suppose."
