President Donald Trump on Friday refused to take a question from a CNN reporter on the grounds that the network was filled with "fake news."
Trump then decided to call on a reporter from what he described as a "real network" -- Fox News White House reporter John Roberts.
Instead of sticking up for his fellow journalists, Roberts continued to ask his question as though nothing had happened.
As Yahoo News' Hunter Walker pointed out, this stands in stark contrast to how the rest of the media actually helped out Fox News in 2009 when the Obama White House tried to shut the network out of its press briefings.
"In 2009, when the Obama White House tried to shut out Fox News, the rest of the press corps stood with them," he writes. "In 2018, when Trump refused to take questions from Acosta, called CNN "fake news," Fox News helped him move the presser along without objection."
Many other Twitter users jumped on Fox and Roberts for their unwillingness to stand up for other reporters -- check out some of the reactions below.
