Former Trump White House staffer Omarosa Manigault Newman says she has personally witnessed President Donald Trump hurling racial slurs against George Conway, the husband of Kellyanne Conway, whose mother is from the Philippines.
In leaked excerpts of Omarosa's new book published by the Guardian, she claims that Trump once exploded when he saw a report about George Conway criticizing his administration.
"Would you look at this George Conway article?" Trump said, according to Omarosa. “F*cking flip! Disloyal! F*cking Goo-goo."
As the Guardian notes, both "flip" and "goo-goo" are racial slurs aimed at Filipinos.
Additionally, Omarosa says that three people have told her that Trump regularly used the n-word while on the set of "The Apprentice."
"The future US president was caught on mic uttering the taboo racial slur 'multiple times' during the making of his reality TV show... and there is a tape to prove it," Omarosa claims, per the Guardian.
Omarosa also claims that, toward the end of her White House tenure, she had a "growing realization that Donald Trump was indeed a racist, a bigot and a misogynist," according to the Guardian.
"My certainty about the N-word tape and his frequent uses of that word were the top of a high mountain of truly appalling things I’d experienced with him, during the last two years in particular," she adds.
Omarosa's book -- titled "Unhinged: An Insider's Account of the Trump White House" -- is set to release on August 14th.
