On Wednesday, White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders roiled the political world by announcing the revocation of former CIA head John Brennan’s security clearance.
The move has raised concerns that President Donald Trump has abused the power of the presidency to exact revenge for a personal slight.
On Fox News Wednesday, host Shepard Smith laid out the evidence that Trump is retaliating against Brennan for criticizing him.
“I want to go through a series of back and forths,” Smith said, before running down the Twitter fight between the President and former CIA director.
“It’s not presidential to take on Omarosa,” Smith quoted Brennan as saying.
“So to say that there’s not a pattern here of back and forth suggesting that this might be retaliation by the president doesn’t seem outside the realm of possibility given the evidence,” Smith concluded.

"And now he has gone beyond that," O'Donnell noted. "Now the president is sayin, 'I could stand in the middle of Fifth Avenue and shoot someone and I cannot be prosecuted for that crime. Or any crime.'"
