On Monday, President Donald Trump announced that the United States and Mexico had tentatively agreed to a new deal regarding the North American Free Trade Agreement.
But Trump's public announcement of the trade deal got off to a rocky start as the White House tried to get Mexican President Enrique Peña Nieto on the phone.
“Now it's a really good deal for both countries and we look very much forward to it and I believe the president is on the phone. Enrique?” Trump said.
“You can hook them up,” the president said after a moment of silence. “Tell me when. A lot of people waiting. Hello? You want to put that on this phone, please? Hello?"
