President Donald Trump’s alleged use of the N-word was discussed by campaign aides in a tape that CBS News White House Correspondent Abby D. Phillips claims to have heard.
Phillips tweeted about the tape this morning, saying that she obtained it from Omarosa Manigault-Newman and that on it Katrina Pierson and Lynne Patton, two black Trump aides, are heard to discuss the incident.

“He’s said it. He’s embarrassed,” Pierson reportedly says.
POTUS says former White House staffer @Omarosa lied when she called him a racist who has said the N-word on tape. But a new recording, obtained by @CBSNews overnight, seems to back up Omarosa’s story that several Trump advisers discussed an alleged tape during the 2016 campaign. pic.twitter.com/tV3R6P2TvE

This contradicts Pierson’s account from just this past weekend when she went on Fox News to contradict Manigault-Newman.
“That did not happen,” Pierson claimed. “Sounds like she’s writing a script for a movie.”
