Trump adviser Kellyanne Conway on Friday lashed out at White House reporters who kept asking her questions about President Donald Trump and his actions in office.
While talking with a gaggle of reporters about the criticism that Trump has faced from a bipartisan group of former national security officials over his decision to strip former CIA Director John Brennan of his security clearance, Conway insisted that Brennan deserved to have his clearance pulled because he had done nothing to "help" the Trump administration since becoming a private citizen.
Conway then launched into a tangent in which she accused reporters of being "obsessed" with the person whom it is their job to cover.
"Why is everybody so obsessed with the President of the United States that they can't even begin or finish a sentence without mentioning his name five times?" Conway asked. "It's kind of weird, and it's infecting people on the news now who fancy themselves security experts."
Conway turned away and walked into the White House, ignoring questions about criticisms levied against the president by Ret. Adm. Bill McRaven, who oversaw the raid that successfully killed Osama bin Laden in 2011.
