Authorities on Friday discovered a new package potentially containing an explosive device that was addressed to Sen. Cory Booker (D-NJ).
As reported by NBC News' Pete Williams, the package was discovered at a mail processing facility in Florida, where it was intercepted before it could be sent to Booker's office in Camden, New Jersey.
Williams said on MSNBC that we still don't know if this package was recently mailed or if it was mailed earlier in the week and only discovered on Friday morning.
"If it's just going into the mail system now, that would indicate that the bomber had only recently mailed this," he said. "But we don't know the answer to that."
The package addressed to Booker marks the eleventh package containing an explosive device that was sent to prominent critics of President Donald Trump this week.
