Megyn Kelly dropped from colossal talent agency CAA after blackface controversy

In the wake of her latest racial incident, Megyn Kelly was dropped from her talent agency CAA.

According to The Hollywood Reporter just one day after Kelly's flub defending blackface during a Halloween costumes segment, the news personality and agency "parted ways."

Kelly, who once claimed Santa Claus and Jesus Christ are white, sent out an apology email explaining she's learned "the history of blackface in our culture" and found it "abhorrent." She apologized for the offense, but she earned a full day of anger and mockery from late-night comedy hosts.

"The fact is, while she apologized to the staff, she owes a bigger apology to folks of color around the country, because this is a history, going back to the 1830s minstrel shows, to demean and denigrate a race," Al Roker said in a Wednesday commentary.
