Crowd stunned silent as Trump speeds through his affordability routine at Alaska rally

President Donald Trump is apparently getting tired of his own affordability routine that he is performing at his midterm rallies, leaving the crowd in Alaska silent on Tuesday night.

In the routine, Trump claims he was barraged with the word "affordability" on his first day in office, and tries to paint it as an issue made up by the "fake news media" in the back of the room.

"They screamed 'Affordability! What about affordability?'" Trump said of the media. "I said, 'I have only been here one day ...'"

The schtick has drawn multiple rounds of applause and ends with a jeer at the media covering Trump's previous rallies, but Trump sped through the routine so fast on Tuesday that the audience fell silent as he spoke and couldn't keep up. Instead, it was a minute-long display of Trump having a blabbering, hypothetical conversation with himself.
