The Cleveland Browns football team is denying reports they are considering hiring former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice as head coach.

On Sunday, ESPN reported a "league source" told them the Browns wanted to interview the controversial George W. Bush administration official.

The team quickly put out a statement denying the report.

"Our coaching search will be thorough and deliberate, but we are still in the process of composing the list of candidates and Secretary Rice has not been discussed," Cleveland GM John Dorsey said.
