Michael Avenatti says Trump should be indicted 'immediately' after new revelations on Trump-Cohen conspiracy

On Friday, Stormy Daniels' attorney Michael Avenatti said that President Donald Trump should be indicted immediately after news details emerged about his involvement in hush-money payments made to Daniels.

A report from The Wall Street Journal revealed that Trump knew about every step that his former lawyer Michael Cohen took to make illegal campaign contributions.

While interviewing with CNN's Wolf Blitzer, Avenatti said Trump should be indicted as soon as possible.

"In light of the sworn testimony and evidence relating to the payment to my client and Trump’s involvement (confirming our allegations), we are calling for the immediate indictment of the president. No one is above the law in the United States," he tweeted.
