MSNBC anchor Rachel Maddow on Wednesday threw her papers up over her head while attempting to report on the latest from First Lady Melania Trump.
Maddow referred to it as a "straight-up bizarre" story about the First Lady's office seeking to fire the Deputy National Security Advisor Mira Ricardel.
"We saw yesterday a flurry of reports that [Ricardel] had been essentially frog marched out of the White House on the orders of the First Lady amid unspecified tensions between her and the First Lady's office," she noted.
Maddow told her viewers that it had been announced that Ricardel would be leaving the White House.
"But by this evening, it appears the First Lady has gotten her scalp -- I mean her way," Maddow quipped.
"I usually have so many words -- I have the best words," she said, quoting President Trump.
"For this, have no words," she continued. "Seriously, this just happened."
