Obama mocks Trump as Mueller closes in: 'No one in my administration got indicted'

As Special Counsel Robert Mueller's investigation continues, despite President Donald Trump's protestations, more and more members of Trump's circle are getting indicted.

In a rare dig at the Trump administration, former President Barack Obama slammed Trump at a gala for the nonpartisan Baker Institute for Public Policy at Rice University, People reports.

"Not only did I not get indicted, nobody in my administration got indicted,” Obama said.

He continued, "By the way, it was the only administration in modern history that that can be said about. In fact, nobody came close to being indicted, probably because the people who joined us were there for the right reasons.”

The interview was moderated by presidential historian Jon Meacham.
