Rudy Giuliani 'hates' working for Trump -- and is 'very worried' about Mueller's upcoming report

Trump attorney Rudy Giuliani is reportedly being ground down mentally by the challenges of working for President Donald Trump.

One Republican source tells Vanity Fair's Gabriel Sherman that Giuliani "hates the job" of being the president's attorney because "Trump is very hard to deal with."

Additionally, Giuliani has been telling associates lately that he expects special counsel Robert Mueller will release the first part of his final report dealing with whether Trump obstructed justice in his efforts to fight investigations into Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election -- and he fears the report will be "horrific" for Trump.

"[Giuliani] is very worried about the report," the source said.

"Rudy thinks it will be soon," said another person of Giuliani's expectations for Mueller's report. “It’s only a matter of time.”

As if that weren't bad enough, Republican sources tell Sherman that they are utterly baffled by what the president is trying to achieve with his strategy on the government shutdown.

"People are looking around asking, ‘What’s the play call?’” one Republican tells Sherman. “He’s calling plays from the line of scrimmage. This was not played well. He’s in a pickle now, and I don’t see a way out.”
