The wife of Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) interviewed with President Donald Trump, Bloomberg News White House correspondent Jennifer Jacobs reported on Wednesday.

Goldman Sachs banker Heidi Cruz sought to be president of the World Bank, but was ultimately passed over.

Trump famously branded her husband as "Lyin' Ted" and suggested her father-in-law was involved in the assassination of President John F. Kennedy.

After receiving a strong challenge from Beto O'Rourke in the 2018 midterms, Ted Cruz sought Trump's endorsement and help campaigning.
