After getting heat for canceling House Speaker Nancy Pelosi Congressional trip overseas, the White House canceled another trip to Davos, Switzerland. The trip was for the World Economic Forum, CNN is reporting.

Press secretary Sarah Sanders confirmed the cancelation in a statement and said it was due to the government shut down.

"Out of consideration for the 800,000 great American workers not receiving pay and to ensure his team can assist as needed, President Trump has canceled his Delegation's trip to the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland," the statement reads.
