CNN's Jim Acosta schooled the President on Twitter Thursday evening after Trump bemoaned the news that, in fact, talk of the FBI discussing the 25th Amendment in 2017 in relation to the President wasn't "fake news."
Trump tweeted earlier Thursday as he watched Fox News, quoting Alan Dershowitz, who appeared on Tucker Carlson's Fox show, offering up the following assessment on what McCabe said he and others at the FBI discussed regarding the 25th Amendment:
"Trying to use the 25th Amendment to try and circumvent the Election is a despicable act of unconstitutional power grabbing...which happens in third world countries. You have to obey the law. This is an attack on our system & Constitution,” Trump quote tweeted Dershowitz as saying.
But Acosta correctly noted on Twitter in a Constitutional clap-back: "Fact check: The 25th Amendment is a part of the Constitution of the United States of America."
