A former Fox News pundit ousted for sexual harassment has asked a Republican congressman if he thought Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA) is "sexy" because of her race.

The Daily Beast reported Friday that former Fox News anchor Eric Bolling issued the query to Rep. Denver Riggleman (R-VA), a congressman best-known for being a fan of "Bigfoot erotica," during an episode of his show on BlazeTV, the online news network founded by Glenn Beck.

“Kamala Harris—there’s a lot of people who’ve said that because one of her parents is, I believe, Indian, if I’m not mistaken, and so they question her blackness," Bolling said. "Her blackness: sexy or not?”

Riggleman initially responded by saying the question was "awful" — but as the report noted, he used the discussions as a launching point to denounce "identity politics," a topic he said has come "full circle" back onto the Democrats "who started this."
