On Monday, presidential candidate Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) will take part in his first CNN town hall host by Wold Blitzer since announcing his 2020 bid.

"We will forcefully present our views and defend ourselves against misrepresentations," Sanders wrote in a letter. "But, let us do our very best to engage respectfully with our Democratic opponents - talking about the issues we are fighting for, not about personalities or past grievances. I want to be clear that I condemn bullying and harassment of any kind and in any space."

Sanders has been seen as a front runner in the race, and as someone whose once radical progressive policies now seem mainstream.

He will take questions from voters in Washington. Watch live below at 8:00 p.m. EST.
