On Monday, MSNBC host Nicolle Wallace blasted President Donald Trump's toxic relationship with Fox News.

Wallace called out Fox News hosts Jeanine Pirro comments about Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) and Tucker Carlson uncovered degrading comments that he made on a radio show.

"You shouldn't defend comments that either of them have made. It comes on the heels of an impressive week with some symbiosis between the White House and Fox News," Associated Press reporter Jonathan Lemire said.

Lemire said that it is clear that Trump takes his "instruction" from Fox News.

"It's not clear Donald Trump ever gets briefed or reads anything from the intelligence community. Are we dancing around the role Fox News plays in Trump's mind? They program him every morning from 6:00 to 9:00," Wallace said.

"To add to your words, it's repugnant, disgusting and dangerous. You cannot tell where the White House ends and Fox News begins. It's 14 hours of hate, violence, and disgusting behavior and they created this environment," Pundit Karine Jean-Pierre said.

"They don't just own the environment, they program the president," Wallace said.
