Former Secretary Julián Castro heard the recent news special counsel Robert Mueller was furious that Attorney General Bill Barr published a summary about the final report that was grossly misleading.
According to the Washington Post, Mueller felt Barr intentionally misled Americans with his summary that was published weeks prior to the Mueller report.
“There is now public confusion about critical aspects of the results of our investigation. This threatens to undermine a central purpose for which the Department appointed the Special Counsel: to assure full public confidence in the outcome of the investigations," the report revealed.
Castro thinks this is a fireable offense and told Congress it's time to question Barr's ability to lead.
"Attorney General Barr willfully misled the American people to cover up attempted crimes by Donald Trump. He should resign his position or face an impeachment inquiry immediately," Castro tweeted Tuesday.
