Biden says there is 'no alternative' to impeachment if Trump blocks Congress from investigating him

On Tuesday, former Vice President Joe Biden told ABC's "Good Morning America" that if President Donald Trump stonewalls congressional investigation of special counsel Robert Mueller's findings, Congress will have no choice but to impeach him.

"One, there was Russian interference," said Biden. "Without any question, number one. Number two, there are elements of the report, second phase of the report, about seven or eight things that are left undone ... and Congress is attempting to take that up. And what Congress should do, and they are doing, is investigate that."

"And if, in fact, they blocked the investigation, they have no alternative but to go to the only other constitutional resort they have, [which] is impeachment," he said. "But my job in the meantime is to make sure he's not back as president of the United States of America."
