CNN’s Anderson Cooper hilariously drops the mic on Lara Trump for her clueless Germany comments: ‘Ask a 4th grader’
On Thursday, CNN’s Anderson Cooper brutally mocked President Donald Trump’s 2020 senior campaign advisor and daughter-in-law Lara Trump.
During his RidicUList segment, Cooper mocked her for making false comments about Germany.
Lara Trump said that allowing refugees into the Germany was the “downfall” of the country.
“It was the downfall of Germany. It was one of the worst things that ever happened to Germany. This president knows that” she told Fox Business host Stuart Varney.
“In a way that proves once again you don’t have to be born into the Trump family to share the president’s remarkable grasp of world history,” Cooper sarcastically remarked. “Number one, Germany hasn’t fallen. She says the downfall of Germany. It’s where it’s always been.”
Cooper then gave Lara Trump advice on how she could learn about world history.
“Come on, really. If you don’t know what the downfall of Germany really was, here’s what you do,” he said. “You ask a fifth grader. Maybe even a fourth grader, or a really smart third grader or how about anyone that knows anything about World War II or the Nazis.“
“You don’t equate anything else with it. You don’t go on cable television and just riff about the downfall of Germany, the worst thing that ever happened to Germany. Maybe just stick to your own make-believe newscast on YouTube,” he said.
