Special counsel Robert Mueller's report contains "damning" evidence against President Donald Trump a guest on MSNBC's "The 11th Hour" predicted on Wednesday.

Jeremy Bash served as chief of staff at the CIA and Pentagon, plus chief counsel for Democrats on the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence.

MSNBC anchor Nicolle Wallace, who was filling in for Brian Williams, asked Bash about both the conspiracy with Russia and obstruction of justice sections of the Mueller report.

"What might it look like?" Wallace asked.

"I think we're going to see a heap of evidence that is really damming about the president's conduct," Bash predicted.

"It's going to appear shameful, unpatriotic, potentially unethical," he continued.

"Whether it crosses the line of illegality, I think that's going to be obviously the eye of the beholder," he concluded.
