President Donald Trump reversed his position on sending asylum seekers to sanctuary cities on Saturday.

At 7:30 p.m. in Washington, DC, Trump argued that The New York Times story reporting he was considering sending asylum seekers to sanctuary cities was "knowingly wrong on almost every fact."

At 8:08 p.m. -- thirty-eight minutes later -- Trump threatened to do exactly what he'd just denied considering.

At 9:47 p.m. Trump again tweeted his threat.
