Sen Charles Grassley took to the Senate floor on Thursday to complain about House Democrats using their majority power to demand President Donald Trump's tax returns and was promptly burned to the ground on Twitter.

According to Grassley, who earlier called Trump's comments on windmills causing cancer "idiotic," the Democrats are out to get the president.

"It's motivated by the Democrats' intense dislike of this President. It's motivated by their frustration over losing an election they thought that they'd easily win," Grassley ranted.

The Iowa senator who just moved to the Senate Oversight Committee after heading up the Judiciary committee promptly got lit up.
