On Saturday, President Donald Trump's main counsel, Rudy Giuliani, proclaimed triumphantly that the president is "INNOCENT" of any offense following the release of special counsel Robert Mueller's investigation of Russia.
Giuliani was promptly mocked in numerous tweets for his misplaced victory lap.
Some people ridiculed Giuliani's congratulation of the other lawyers:
Others pointed out to Giuliani that Mueller's report did not, in fact, affirm Trump's innocence, and that other investigations are still ongoing.
And at least one person asked Rudy what happened to the "counter-report" that Giuliani previously announced would be released by his team to rebut the Mueller report:
