‘Dumbest white lady’ Laura Ingraham gets weekend-long trouncing from Black Twitter over Nipsey Hussle slur

Published

Attacks on Fox News host Laura Ingraham haven’t stopped, despite the weekend break. Twitter users of color, known as #BlackTwitter, were relentless in holding Ingraham accountable for her racism during her show last week.

“Yesterday in L.A., thousands lined the streets to say goodbye to rapper Nipsey Hussle,” a sarcastic Ingraham said with a broad grin. “Now this dear artist recently released a song called ‘FDT’ – F Donald Trump.”

The lower third of the screen proclaimed: “Nipsey Hussle’s Wholesome Song Featuring Donald Trump.”

“So is that line referring to the lowest unemployment ever?” Ingraham said, referring to the low rates of unemployment for Black Americans. The rate of unemployment began to trend down with policies put in place by the previous administration, but President Donald Trump continues to take credit.

As a fact-check, Nipsey Hussle was merely featured in the video “FDT,” it was YG who was behind the song. Ingraham appears not to know the difference between the two black men.

Ingraham quoted the chorus of “FDT,” which encourages young voters to cast ballots based on the racism within the Trump campaign.

“God Bless,” she closed.

Mueller is signaling he’ll be tough witness — and it could play right into the GOP’s hands

Former Special Counsel Robert Mueller is sending a very clear message: He doesn’t want to testify.

That’s the not-so-subtle subtext of the announcement that Mueller plans to submit the 448-page report detailing the findings of the Russia investigation as a statement for the record during his hearing before the House scheduled for Wednesday. Of course, Congress already has the report, so the move isn’t necessary. It’s Mueller’s way of saying, as he has previously, “The report is my testimony.”

‘They share staff with the Kremlin’: Maddow roasts Trump’s new favorite right-wing network OANN

Published

on

MSNBC anchor Rachel Maddow roasted One America News Network (OANN) for employing a Kremlin operative to report on United States politics.

"If the Fox News channel is insufficiently pro-Trump for you, you may or may not know there is another boutique little news outlet that is designed specifically for Trump megafans called One America, One America News Network," she explained.

"The Trump White House gave this boutique outfit a hard pass for access to the White House grounds and a permanent seat in the White House briefing room -- remember when the White House used to hold press briefings? They had a seat," she continued.
