President Donald Trump attacked two of the most respected newspapers in the country after their reporting was vindicated by special counsel Robert Mueller's report vindicated their reporting on the administration.

"The Washington Post and New York Times are, in my opinion, two of the most dishonest media outlets around," Trump tweeted.

"Truly, the enemy of the people," he argued.

The newspapers have each won Pulitzer Prizes for their coverage of the president and their reporting was largely vindicated by the findings of the special counsel.
