President Donald Trump tweeted out that he showed Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen the door. According to him, the new person in charge of the department will be Kevin McAleenan. He'll serve as the acting secretary, though it's unclear if McAleenan will be the official appointee to the post.

Nielsen was one of the last women in charge at DHS, National Security Analyst Juliette Kayyam told CNN.
