President Donald Trump has reached a new “all-time low” among Republican voters on several key issues according to the latest Fox News poll — and a growing number of Senate GOP lawmakers have reached what Punchbowl News described on Friday as a “Trump breaking point.”

“Eventually, Senate Republicans were going to prioritize their own political survival over President Donald Trump’s wants and needs. They have. But it just might be too late,” reads Punchbowl News’ morning newsletter published on Friday.

Democrats, already confident that they will take control of the House after the midterm elections, are now eyeing the seat of Rep. Tom Kean Jr (R-NJ), who has mysteriously stopped showing up for work.

According to a report from Politico, there was already a belief that Kean’s seat was in play before he went AWOL, and his failure to represent his constituents in Congress over the past several weeks has given Democrats a leg up on stealing the seat.

Reporting from Kentucky about the pivotal election that will likely hand Massie’s House seat to political neophyte Ed Gallrein, Schnell said that there was a great deal of misinformation that formed voters’ decisions, including a belief that Massie had voted to impeach Trump which is not true.
