Trump attorney Alina Habba: 'No one is above the law' is a 'stupid little catchphrase'

Alina Habba, Donald Trump's attorney, said liberals were using a "stupid little catchphrase" that "no one is above the law" to justify the prosecution of her client.

During a Thursday appearance on Fox News, host Harris Faulkner asked Habba why the jury had not been sequestered in Trump's hush money case.

"I agree with you," Habba replied. "These things are fatal errors that we're seeing because the political motivation, as we've seen, Harris, to rush these trials against President Trump, to make sure they're done before the November election, and to cover it up by saying no one is above the law."

"That stupid little catchphrase that they love to say, well, that's not really your political motivation because Hunter Biden's above the law," she added.

"Let's talk about that," Faulkner said before changing the subject to President Joe Biden's son.
