'This is bad stuff': Trump's DOJ flattened over yet another 'embarrassing' court fail

Reacting to another attempt to get a grand jury to issue an indictment of New York Attorney General Letitia James on fraud charges that fell flat on its face, the Department of Justice under Donald Trump appointee Pam Bondi was leveled on MS NOW on Friday morning.

Late Thursday, the DOJ once again came up empty-handed in its pursuit of one of Trump’s main antagonists, who, unlike the DOJ, was successful when she convicted the president of business fraud, only to have an appeals court rule the financial penalty was “excessive.

'Huge': Experts warn of 'major consequences' as Supreme Court allows Texas to use MAGA map

Following the Supreme Court's decision to allow Texas Republicans to use their heavily gerrymandered new congressional map that attempts to delete five Democratic seats, former federal prosecutor Elie Honig and CNN anchor Jake Tapper agreed that the ruling could have significant implications beyond the specific map at hand.

"Jake, this is going to have major consequences for the 2026 midterms, as the justices appear to acknowledge. This means Texas will get to use its revised map, the new map that would give Republicans up to five more majority-Republican districts," said Honig.

One retired Judge Advocate General Corps (JAG) officer says officials in President Donald Trump's Pentagon may have been aware they were breaking international law when carrying out a controversial strike in September.

Obsessed Trump's revenge case on top foe will likely be 'killed in the cradle': analyst

Federal courts will probably "kill" President Donald Trump's latest attack on one of his political foes "in the cradle" before the case gets off the ground, a legal analyst said Thursday.

Adam Klasfeld, editor-in-chief of All Rise News, discussed a subpoena that Trump-aligned prosecutor, Acting U.S. Attorney John Sarcone, served to New York Attorney General Letitia James with progressive YouTuber Brian Tyler Cohen on Thursday. The subpoena concerned James' investigatory files from when she prosecuted Trump for fraud, Klasfeld said. James appeared in court on Thursday to fight the subpoena, where her lawyers argued that Sarcone is improperly serving as the acting U.S. attorney.
