Trump sends 'The View' hosts into fits of laughter as he invents new word

The co-hosts of "The View" had a good laugh at President Donald Trump on Wednesday after he either slurred his words — or made up a new one altogether.

At issue is Trump's new conspiracy that President Barack Obama invented the evidence that Russia meddled in the 2016 election. It's nearly 10 years later and, Sunny Hostin remarked, Obama still "lives rent free in his head."

During a House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee hearing on Wednesday, Stanton noted that Richardson had a duty under the law "to act proactively and not to wait for a request from Governor Abbott to pre-position resources."

'Disaster, terrible, awful, horrible': CNN's data guru declares Trump in 'ton of trouble'

President Donald Trump's approval has collapsed to near-historic lows, according to a new analysis, and Americans disapprove of his handling of every major issue.

The president has been trying to change the subject from the Jeffrey Epstein scandal that has ballooned this month after his Department of Justice announced the disgraced financier had killed himself while awaiting trial and had not kept a client list. CNN's Harry Enten found the issue was a major drag on Trump's popularity.

'I can't handle you!' CNN host cracks up at vivid description of 'panic-stricken' Trump

CNN's Kate Bolduan laughed at a panelist's vivid description of a "panic-stricken" President Donald Trump consumed with guilt over the Jeffrey Epstein scandal.

The president prompted a rare response Tuesday from his predecessor Barack Obama after accusing him of "treasonous conspiracy" based on long-settled claims about the origins of the "Russiagate" probe, and Democratic strategist Paul Begala told "CNN News Central" that Trump was clearly trying to change the subject.

'I am the deep state': GOP pollster warns Trump he's accidentally 'turned tables' on self

President Donald Trump has positioned himself as the "deep state" by targeting his predecessor Barack Obama with possible prosecution, according to a Republican pollster.

'Real panic in Trump orbit': White House mess detailed as president prepares to leave US

With Donald Trump headed off to Scotland later this week, he is leaving behind a White House in disarray and unsure how to stop the drip drip drip of revelations about the president's friendship with notorious accused pedophile Jeffrey Epstein, according to an MSNBC host.

Now that media outlets are growing more aggressive in calling out the president and some of his top officials for creating "distractions" to direct attention elsewhere, MSNBC "Morning Joe" co-host Jonathan Lemire reported that the White House is in a frenzy over what to do because nothing seems to be working.

'Flailing' Trump pounced on as MSNBC panel sees desperation taking him 'beyond the pale'

Reacting to a rambling press conference on Tuesday by Donald Trump, the panel on MSNBC's "Morning Joe" buried the president for going to extremes to avoid additional scrutiny over his relationship with pedophile Jeffrey Epstein.

After days of criticism of his Department of Justice taking heat for trying to bury the so-called Epstein files, the president is now being accused of falling back on attacks on President Barack Obama with claims the former president committed treason.

With co-host Willie Geist pointing out that the accusations being made by Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard — which Trump has glommed onto — having already been disproved by then-Senate Intel Chair Marco Rubio, the host observed Trump is obviously desperate.

"It's widely concluded and signed by Marco Rubio, who, let's remember, is the secretary of state under President Trump, he also has three other interim jobs, his was a bipartisan conclusion and what was happening here,' he explained. "It must be said this is, you know, President Trump trying to distract."

"We have seen for four days an effort, a flailing effort to try to turn the conversation away from the Jeffrey Epstein matter and this is what he settled on: it's 2016 all over again," he added.

Contributor Mike Barnicle added, "What we just saw a clip of is the sitting president of the United States of America talking about one of his predecessors, Barack Obama, and using the word treason. Yeah, that is so far beyond the pale."
