Donald Trump will address his faithful followers at an indoor arena in Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin at a smaller venue than originally planned due to Secret Service concerns. at 3:30ET.

The former president has ramped up appearances in the so-called battleground states of Wisconsin, Pennsylvania and Michigan as new polling shows Vice President Kamala Harris taking a slight lead in the closely contested presidential race.

The former president had originally slated a rally at a Wisconsin airport on Saturday, but those plans were tossed out when the Secret Service stated it did not have the manpower on the same weekend that foreign dignitaries were flooding New York City for the annual meeting of the United Nations General Assembly.

According to a statement from the beleaguered Secret Service, "Our personnel and equipment are being pushed to their limits to sustain the current operational tempo. This proposed Wisconsin event also took place during the United Nations General Assembly, where the Secret Service is responsible for the safety and security of over 140 world leaders amid a challenged global threat level."
