Donald Trump lashes out at Megyn Kelly: Boycott her show because 'she is sick'

Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump's detente with Fox News host Megyn Kelly ended on Friday when he called on his fans to boycott her show, The Hill reported.

"Never worth watching. [It is] always a hit on Trump," he posted on Twitter. "She is sick [and] the most overrated person on TV."

Trump's remark came a day after he accused the Kelly File host of devoting her shows to him despite "always complaining" about the candidate. It is the latest salvo in the on-again off-again feud between the real estate mogul and the conservative network, which he has accused at various points of being unfair to him.

But just last week, she defended Trump, saying protesters at his canceled rally in Chicago "shut down" his right to free speech.

The mogul's fans have also attacked Kelly for asking about the lawsuit concerning Trump University. Trump most notably insulted Kelly last August, when he claimed she had "blood coming out of her wherever" following a GOP candidate debate.

While Fox officials have defended Kelly in the past, on Friday contributor Geraldo Rivera was the first to publicly respond to Trump, telling him, "I love you man but basta."

"This obsession with [Kelly] is weird [and] unhelpful," Rivera replied on Twitter. "She's doing her job, you do yours."
