Stephen Colbert rips Trump over 'Slippery James Comey' tweet: 'I touched him -- his texture is dry and rough'

Fox News personality Sean Hannity was again mocked on late night TV after the disclosure of the anchor's conflict of interest scandal involving Donald Trump counselor Michael Cohen.

"I am still riding high from last night's interview with James Comey," The Late Show host Stephen Colbert admitted. "I thought it went well."

"I'm not sure if the president saw the interview, I hear he doesn't watch TV hosts who don't share his lawyer," Colbert joked. "I'm right about that, right? Allegedly, allegedly."

"But he might have watched based on this seemingly out-of-nowhere tweet," Colbert continued.

He then impersonated President Trump when reading this tweet:

"First of all sir, James Comey is not slippery," Colbert fact-checked. "He was right there, I touched him, his texture is dry and rough."

"Comey's appearance here was so powerful, it's already healing a nation," he argued. "Need proof? James Comey is now friends with the Wu Tang Clan!"
