The View’s Meghan McCain weirdly snaps after Abby Huntsman agrees with her: ‘I’m still talking!’

"The View" co-host Meghan McCain turned on her friend and fellow conservative Abby Huntsman during a suddenly contentious discussion about Jussie Smollett.

The panelists largely agreed with one another that the "Empire" actor had hurt other victims of hate crimes by allegedly staging a false one as part of an apparent bid to get a pay raise, and McCain said she was suspicious of his claims from the beginning.

"One of the things that I thought was strange was he wouldn't hand over his phone," she said. "If I'm someone has been attacked in one way or another, I would want to find whoever did it. I would give up anything -- my computer, my phones, whatever, my records of where I was."

McCain said she agreed with co-host Sunny Hostin's suspicions about Smollett, and then she snapped at her longtime friend Huntsman for interrupting.

"From the beginning, I think," McCain said, "that was one of the first things that I believe you said -- I don't remember -- but the fact that he wasn't being as forthcoming as necessarily I would be, if I were in that situation."

Huntsman chimed in with a comment.

"That, and he didn't file a police report as quickly --"

McCain, who has feuded and sulked on air with her colleagues and reportedly quarreled with producers, shot Huntsman a look.

"I'm still talking, thank you," McCain said. "Okay? I always speak last."
