WATCH: Virginia Beach protest of Confederate statue

The protests against Confederate monuments that glorify Confederate generals has reached Virginia Beach, Virginia and is prompting residents to rally at the 27-foot-tall statue of a Confederate soldier at the Municipal Center.

The Hampton Roads/Eastern Shore Progressive Democrats of America along with other groups and religious leaders met at the statue beginning at 4 p.m. Thursday.

Thus far, there has always been a Trump supporter who had trouble spelling something to put on a white board as well as pro-statue activists, who held a mock slave auction.
